What We Do

A full-service plumbing contractor — from water line re-pipes and remodel plumbing to a slow kitchen drain or a collapsed sewer lateral. One crew, camera-verified work, and pricing you hear before we start.

Commercial & Light Industrial

USDS is a licensed commercial plumbing contractor, not just a residential one. Clinics, kitchens, warehouses, and offices run on the same drains and sewer laterals as a house — with far more riding on them staying open.

Plumbing technician servicing a drain line in a dialysis clinic

Dialysis Clinics

High water use and no tolerance for downtime. Camera-verified drain and sewer work, and the same 24/7 line when something fails mid-treatment.

Plumbing technician clearing a floor drain in a commercial kitchen

Restaurants & Kitchens

Grease-heavy kitchen lines are exactly what the jetter is for — scoured back to full diameter instead of punched through and left to close up again.

Plumbing technician rodding a drain line in a warehouse

Warehouses & Industrial

Floor drains, main lines, and ejector pits across a big footprint — diagnosed on camera before anyone talks about opening concrete.

Plumbing technician servicing a sink drain in a medical office

Doctors' & Medical Offices

Restroom and utility lines kept clear with as little disruption to a waiting room as possible, and a written price before the work starts.

Plumbing technician clearing a drain in an office building

Office Buildings

Restrooms, break rooms, and the main line they all feed — rodding, jetting, sump and ejector pumps, and water heater service on one call.

Storefronts & Small Business

Any business sitting on a sewer lateral. Same crew, same straight pricing, same emergency number that reaches a human at 2am.

How a Job Works

The same four steps whether it's a slow kitchen drain or a collapsed sewer lateral.

1

You call, a human answers

Day or night — no phone tree and no callback queue. Tell us what's happening and we'll tell you straight away whether it's an emergency or something that can wait for a scheduled visit.

2

We diagnose with a camera

On drain and sewer work you see the line on screen — the location, the depth, and the actual condition of the pipe. No guessing, and no repair sold off a hunch.

3

You hear the price first

You approve the number before any work starts, not after it's finished. If there's a cheaper fix that solves it properly, that's the one we quote.

4

We fix it and prove it

The work gets done and, on sewer jobs, re-scoped on camera so you can see it's actually clear. Ask and we'll hand over the footage for your records or an insurance claim.

Our Work

Real jobs, photographed on site by the crew that did them — not stock photography. This is what a camera-verified diagnosis and an honest repair actually look like.

Drag to see the difference

Both frames are from the same job, shot from the same corner. The line under that floor was backing the house up on repeat — it came out, a new one went in, and the floor was closed back up.

Same corner, same job. Failed line dug out, new flange set, floor closed back up.

Why USDS

Who you're calling matters as much as what they fix.

Veteran-Owned & Local

USDS is a veteran-owned company that started in Streamwood and is now based in St. Charles — local crews working the same Fox Valley streets every day, backed by a 10% discount for veterans, law enforcement, first responders & seniors.

Camera-First Diagnosis

On sewer work you see the problem on screen — location, depth, and condition — before you approve anything. We can provide the footage for your records or an insurance claim.

Straight Pricing & Financing

You hear the price before we start, not after. Recurring problems get a cause diagnosis instead of the same fix sold twice a year — and financing is available on larger jobs, so a failed sewer line doesn't have to be paid for all at once.

True 24/7 Answer

Licensed & insured plumbing, drain & sewer experts — and the phone reaches a human around the clock, nights, weekends, and holidays, not a morning callback.

Where We Work

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to what homeowners actually ask us.

Do you really answer 24/7?

Yes — the phone is answered around the clock, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Sewage backups and failed sump pumps don't wait for business hours, and neither do we.

Are you veteran-owned?

Yes — United States Drain & Sewer is a veteran-owned company, and we back that up with a 10% discount for veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and seniors.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes — 10% off for veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and seniors. Just mention it when you call.

What areas do you serve?

We're based in St. Charles and cover the Fox Valley and western suburbs — Geneva, Batavia, Elgin, South Elgin, Wheaton, West Chicago, Campton Hills, and surrounding towns — plus the north suburbs, including Lincolnshire, Northbrook, Libertyville, and Highland Park. If you're nearby, call — odds are we cover you.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully licensed and insured plumbing, drain & sewer experts for residential and commercial work in Illinois.

What do I do about a leaky faucet?

Close the shut-off valve under the fixture if it's leaking badly, then call us. A dripping faucet is usually a worn cartridge or valve seat — a quick repair or replacement for our plumbing crew — but left alone it wastes water and gets worse.

There's a wet spot on my ceiling — could that be plumbing?

Yes — if there are water lines above it or a bathroom overhead, it's very likely plumbing-related. Supply lines, tub and shower drains, and toilet seals all fail hidden inside the ceiling first. We locate the source and fix it properly — call before the spot grows.

Can you show me what's wrong instead of just telling me?

Yes — that's the point of camera-first diagnosis. On sewer work you'll see the problem on screen before you approve anything, and we can provide the footage for your records or an insurance claim.
